Low-voltage cables are composed of three parts: the core, the insulating layer and the protective layer. The core wire is used to conduct electrical current and is usually made of stranded copper or aluminum wire. Low-voltage cables include single-core, double-core, three-core, four-core, etc. Two-core cables are used for single-phase lines, and three-core and four-core cables are used for three-phase three-wire and three-phase four-wire respectively. Common low-voltage cable core cross-sectional areas are 10, 16, 25, 35, 50, 70, 95, 120, 150, 185, 240 mm, etc.


The aluminum alloy cable is a new type of power cable with advanced technologies such as AA8030 series aluminum alloy material as the conductor and special roll forming wire stranding production technology and annealing treatment. Alloy power cables make up for the shortcomings of pure aluminum cables in the past. Although the electrical conductivity of the cable is not improved, the flexural properties, creep resistance and corrosion resistance are greatly improved, which can ensure the continuous overloading and overheating of the cable for a long time.


ABC cable is an overhead cable that is usually used for overhead power distribution to replace traditional bare conductor overhead power distribution systems. ABC cable is also a low voltage cable that provides higher levels of safety and reliability, lower power losses and ultimately system economics by reducing installation, maintenance and operating costs.
