Hello!  I am Jay, a cable engineer, currently living in China. I graduated from Beijing university of technology, majoring in electrical engineering and automation, and now I am the chief engineer of the cable major of Beijing electric power engineering company. When I just graduated from the university, I was absorbed in the research and development of all aluminum cable,AAC cable,AAAC cable, ABC cable, ACAR cable,ACSR cable.Later, I gradually became the technical director of the company from the original cable designer, mainly responsible for the research and development of new power cables, photovoltaic cables and other products. As a cable technical engineer, I should not only be familiar with the laws and regulations and technical characteristics and requirements related to wires and cables, but also be familiar with the product standards, inspection standards, production processes and inspection equipment of cables (PVC and rubber).Understand wire and cable equipment maintenance, but also can independently carry out the preparation of relevant technology and inspection standards, skilled in AutoCAD and other design software, in addition to good English ability, can understand English technical standards and can make English specifications.

Cables for daily use

Low-voltage cable

Low-voltage cable is composed of three parts: Wire core, insulating layer and protective layer. The core is used to conduct electric current and is usually made of stranded copper or aluminum wires. Low-voltage cable has single-core, double-core, three-core, four-core and so on. Two-core cable is used for single-phase line, three-core and four-core cable are used for three-phase three-wire line and three-phase four-wire line respectively. Common low-voltage cable core cross-sectional area of 10,16,25,35,50,70,95,120,150,185,240 mm and so on.

AAAC Conductor

Aluminum alloy cable is a new material power cable with AA8030 series aluminum alloy material as the conductor, and adopts special roll forming molding wire stranding production technology and annealing treatment and other advanced technologies. Alloy power cables make up for the shortcomings of pure aluminum cables in the past. Although the electrical conductivity of the cable is not improved, the bending performance, creep resistance and corrosion resistance are greatly improved, which can ensure that the cable remains continuous when overloaded and overheated for a long time.

ABC Cable

ABC cable is an overhead cable and is commonly used for overhead distribution in place of traditional overhead distribution systems with bare conductors. ABC cable is also a low-voltage cable that provides higher levels of safety and reliability, lower power losses, and ultimately system economy by reducing installation, maintenance, and operation costs.
